Fibro Scan (Liver Elastography) is a non-invasive, advanced diagnostic test used to assess the health of the liver by measuring liver stiffness and fat accumulation. It plays a crucial role in detecting and monitoring liver conditions such as Fatty Liver Disease, Liver Fibrosis, Cirrhosis, and viral hepatitis. During the procedure, the patient lies on their back while a trained technician places a small probe on the skin over the liver area. The entire test typically takes about 10-15 minutes, and results are available immediately.
